TOMS RIVER, N.J. (AP) - Police are seeking the person caught on video damaging a life-size bronze sculpture in Toms River.

The video shows a male approaching the statue of a man with hedge shears and eventually tipping it over. It took some effort because the sculpture weighs over 1,000 pounds.

Police say it happened early Sunday morning.

The statue is one of 20 on loan from the Seward Johnson Grounds for Sculpture that was meant to enhance the downtown area.
