INDIANOLA, Iowa (AP) - One of two escapees from Warren County Jail in south-central Iowa has been arrested.

Des Moines media outlets report 26-year-old Frank Manders was arrested around 4:45 p.m. Monday. According to a news release, he was found walking along a gravel road north of Indianola after someone called police about a suspicious person.

Manders had been in jail on charges of several crimes including vehicular homicide.

Authorities say he and 29-year-old Darian Crayton, who remains at-large, escaped from jail early Monday by manipulating a cell door lock and descending from the third floor. They fled north when they got outside the building in Indianola.

Crayton had been in jail on charges of driving while barred and failing to appear in court.
