MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Two people have been charged after a 27-year-old man was shot and wounded outside a Myrtle Beach hospital following an argument about the accidental shooting of a 3-year-old boy.

Multiple news outlets reported that 24-year-old Yul Grayson Harley II of Florence has been charged with attempted murder and 20-year-old Brandilyn Brianni Wright has been charged as an accessory. Police say Harley was involved in a confrontation Saturday in front of Grant Strand Medical Center with the victim, who had non-life threatening injuries.

Horry County authorities say the 3-year-old was accidentally shot earlier in the day at a home near Myrtle Beach, leading to an argument between family members. Investigators think the child found a gun and accidentally fired it.

Police say the child was in critical but stable condition.
