CENTER POINT, Ala. (AP) - A man accused of fatally shooting a woman who was babysitting his four children faces a capital murder charge.

Al.com reports (https://bit.ly/1KJK8dL ) authorities on Monday took out a warrant against 32-year-old Jason Maurice Jones. He is charged in the slaying of 24-year-old Mylira Elizabeth Generette.

Jones was being held without bond in the Jefferson County jail. It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer who could comment on the charge.

Authorities have said Generette was staying at the home with a friend. She was watching the children Saturday morning while her friend was out.

Authorities said Jones showed up just before 9:30 a.m. and got into an argument with Generette. Authorities said Jones then got a handgun from his car and returned to the house and shot Generette.
