BARSTOW, Calif. (AP) - San Bernardino County authorities have arrested a man after a 6½-hour standoff at a Barstow home where two bodies were found.

Authorities tell the Desert Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1FSfLxD) that concerned family members called sheriff’s deputies Monday night to check on the residents.

The deputies saw nothing suspicious and left but were called back around 10 p.m. by family members.

Sgt. Jason Radeleff says this time, they saw a man who refused to come out, and also a woman’s body.

The deputies called in a SWAT team.

After the man surrendered peacefully Tuesday morning, deputies found the body of a man in the home.

Radeleff says investigators are trying to determine whether the bodies belong to the man’s parents. There’s no word on the cause of death.
