TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - Pierce County Superior Court Judge Tom Larkin has announced that he will retire from the bench on July 31.

The Tacoma News Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1cvtcZF ) that Larkin has served in Superior Court for 20 years after spending 10 years in the district court.

He graduated from Gonzaga Law School in 1973, and was a presiding judge in district court, juvenile court and superior court.

Larkin say he looks forward to traveling and spending more time with his wife, four children and five grandkids.
