WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) - Federal marshals have tracked a sex offender from New York who failed to register under Megan’s Law to Pennsylvania.

Marshals on Monday arrested 55-year-old Joseph Brant at an apartment complex in Wilkes-Barre.

The Brooklyn, New York, resident was convicted of sexual abuse in Seneca County, New York, in 2000. However, Brant failed to register his whereabouts in the past three years.

Brant is charged with failing to register as a convicted sex offender.
