NAPOLEONVILLE, La. (AP) - Assumption Parish deputies say an 18-year-old and a 13-year-old were arrested after they allegedly burglarized three camps in the Belle River area and set fire to one of them.

Sheriff’s deputies tell The Advocate (https://bit.ly/1BEFJRc ) that the camp burned to the ground. The camp was in a swampy area without a road to it.

Deputies say Brett Hebert, 18, of Pierre Part, and a 13-year-old boy admitted to burglarizing a camp in Assumption Parish and two in St. Martin Parish on Thursday.

Deputies say Hebert was booked into the parish jail on counts of criminal damage to property, simple burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Deputies say the juvenile was booked into the parish juvenile jail on counts of criminal damage to property and simple burglary.
