GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - The trial set this week for two men accused on federal charges of conspiring to sell cocaine and high-grade heroin out of a Gulfport bar has been continued until the Aug. 3 criminal calendar.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1dIFRtU) Carlos Miller and Randall Sheffield had been scheduled for trial Wednesday. A third suspect in the case, Julie Michelle Glass, pleaded guilty in April to a federal charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute in the case. She’s facing a maximum sentence of 40 years at her sentencing, tentatively set for June 23.

All three are Gulfport residents and remain jailed.

Authorities arrested the trio in January on a criminal complaint accusing them of conspiring to sell drugs out of the Ice Daiquiri Lounge in Gulfport.
