BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A woman accused of driving the vehicle during a drive-by shooting on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation has been sentenced to more than two years in prison.

Morgan Williams pleaded guilty earlier to reckless endangerment and terrorizing. Authorities say she was behind the wheel when Michael Mitzel fired shots into a residence in Mandaree last August. There were no injuries.

Authorities say Williams and Mitzel tried to cover up the crime by hiding the shotgun and selling the vehicle used during the shooting.

U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland sentenced Williams to 27 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release.

Mitzel has signed a deal that calls for him to plead guilty to three counts. He is scheduled for sentencing in October.
