COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Heavy rains are again bringing flooding to some low-lying areas across Ohio.

A handful of counties in central Ohio were under flood warnings on Saturday.

Several areas of the state in western and northwestern Ohio were starting to dry out after a long week of rain and high-water.

Logan County’s Emergency Management Agency director says floodwaters are beginning to recede and that damage assessment teams spent Saturday looking at flooded garages and basements and a lot of debris left behind.

County officials there declared a state of emergency on Friday.
