MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Emergency planners and others are gathering in Mobile next week for a two-state conference on hurricane preparedness.

The state emergency management agencies for Alabama and Mississippi are staging the Central Gulf Coast Hurricane Conference beginning Tuesday in Mobile. The meeting continues through Friday.
