TECUMSEH, Neb. (AP) - Scheduled pavement work could hamper traffic on U.S. Highway 136 in southeast Nebraska next week.

The Nebraska Roads Department says a crew will do a chip seal on an 11-mile stretch east of Tecumseh. The department says chip seal is an application of an asphalt binder to a roadway surface, followed by application of an aggregate.

A pilot vehicle and flaggers will be deployed to control the one-lane traffic. The work is expected to take five days.
