MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The head of the Vermont Agency of Human Services has announced a number of staff changes in the agency’s departments.

Secretary Hal Cohen says Deputy Commissioner Stuart Schurr of the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living is going to become general counsel for the department.

Camille George will become deputy commissioner of DAIL. She is currently the director of the Developmental Disabilities Services Division.

Incoming DAIL Commissioner Monica Hutt says she’s thrilled with the changes and she’s confident that Schurr and George will help the department continue to lead the way in supporting independent and healthy lives for older Vermonters and individuals with disabilities.
