GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - A Green Bay firefighter has died while on duty at a station house.

Green Bay Press Gazette Media (https://gbpg.net/1BvBOeT ) reports Lt. Michael Miller died in his sleep around 4 a.m. Saturday while working his shift.

A fire department spokesman says the 45-year-old Miller was an 18-year veteran of the department.

International Association of Fire Fighters Local 141 President Chad Bronkhorst confirmed Miller’s death, but declined comment.

A Facebook post on the Green Bay Metro Fire Fighters page says crews found Miller unresponsive and without a pulse.
