ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are investigating after gunfire struck a bus filled with people on a rolling birthday party.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1da4GO1 ) reports that some of the occupants were struck by shards of glass from shattered windows, although no one was seriously hurt. Police said the shooting happened Saturday night after some of the revelers were told to get off the chartered coach bus.

Police interviewed people at the bus, but declined to say whether they had names of suspects.

Twenty-year-old rider Lae Scott said the bus had made a stop downtown to pick up people before heading to several nightclubs. She said the shooting happened moments after organizers asked some people to leave because the crowd had grown too large.
