CANYONVILLE, Ore. (AP) - A man has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a relative in Douglas County.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting Saturday evening was in the city of Canyonville. Officials identified the victim as Jeredy Peters, and the shooter as Bandon Fuller. The sheriff’s office said in a news release they were relatives, but did not specify how they were related.

Peters wife, Jessica Gibson, was present at the time of the shooting but was not hurt.

Fuller has been booked into the Douglas County Jail for investigation of murder.
