BLUE MOUNDS, Wis. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a man whose body was found last week in a silo on his property in Dane County.

The Dane County medical examiner’s office identifies the man as 52-year-old Gary Pertzborn of Mount Horeb.

Pertzborn’s body was discovered Thursday on a farm in Blue Mounds, about 27 miles west of Madison.

An autopsy was completed Friday. The medical examiner’s office says the manner and cause of death are pending additional studies, but foul play is not suspected.

Mount Horeb assistant fire chief Eric Brinkmann says Pertzborn was reported missing by a friend who kept cows on his property. Brinkmann says the friend found the man’s body.

The death remains under investigation.
