ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A state-owned nature area on the Hudson River has a $100,000 upgrade.

New York environmental officials say the 117-acre Nutten Hook Unique Area in the Columbia County town of Stuyvesant has new picnic and parking areas as well as a trailhead informational kiosk.

The site about 20 miles south of Albany is the newest stop along the 256-mile Hudson River Greenway Water Trail.
