BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - An orchestra from Norway will perform a free concert this month in North Dakota.

The Trønder Boys Old-Time Orchestra will play at the North Dakota Heritage Center June 28. The orchestra’s performance in Bismarck is among nine concerts scheduled in the Midwest as part of a cultural exchange between Norway and the United States.

The group is organized by three members who have performed toe-tapping music for more than 40 years. It often performs on Norwegian television and radio.

The concert in Bismarck is sponsored by the State Historical Society of North Dakota in partnership with the Sverdrup Sons of Norway Lodge of Bismarck.
