NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A Newark woman has been arrested on two weapons charges in the stabbing death of her boyfriend.

Essex County prosecutors announced the charges against 35-year-old Esther Pascual on Sunday, one day after 41-year-old Augustine Camacho was found lying on his bed with a stab wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Authorities described the death as a “domestic related homicide” and said Camacho and Pascual were involved in a dating relationship. But they declined further comment, citing the ongoing investigation.

Pascual was being held at the county jail, and it wasn’t known Sunday if she has retained an attorney.
