LATROBE, Pa. (AP) - An 18-year-old western Pennsylvania man was thrown from a vehicle and killed after it crashed on a rural road.

An autopsy was set Monday on the body of Parker Eckman, of Latrobe.

State police say Eckman wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when he was thrown from a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old woman about 3 p.m. Sunday in Unity Township. That’s about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Police are trying to determine whether the woman driving the car was speeding. She’s not been charged, and police say she was taken to Latrobe Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Police say she was wearing a seatbelt.

The car left the road and rolled over several times before coming to rest against a utility pole.
