CAMDEN, Ark. (AP) - Aerojet Rocketdyne has announced plans to expand its plant in Camden that manufactures solid rocket motors and warheads for the defense industry.

The company announced Monday that it will spend $18 million on new buildings, upgrades and new equipment and add 85 new full-time jobs at the plant. The company says the announcement comes a week after the plans were discussed last week with Gov. Asa Hutchinson at the Paris Air Show.

Aerojet Rocketdyne says it will have more than 630 employees at the plant when the project is complete.
