CULLMAN, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama woman is accused of hiring two men to beat and rob her ex-husband.

Cullman County authorities say 46-year-old Angela Richardson of Gardendale found two men who expressed an interest in a truck that her former husband was selling.

Richardson’s ex, 59-year-old Steven Moseley of Morris, was attacked and badly beaten during a test drive on May 29. The vehicle was stolen.

Police say the woman hired 48-year-old Vaughn McClain of Foley and 20-year-old Zachary Madison of Locust Fork to attack the man.

Moseley was badly injured and remains hospitalized. He’s a retired educator.

The woman and both men are charged with robbery. Court records aren’t yet available to show whether they have hired lawyers to speak on their behalf.

Authorities say more charges are possible.
