JENNINGS, La. (AP) - Police say they have arrested a Jennings man and woman in the death of a 26-year-old Jennings man whose body was found in a hotel room.

Jennings Police Chief Todd D’Albor tells the American Press (https://bit.ly/1JcwNKW ) that 25-year-old Harold Trey Hargrave and 27-year-old Kristin Bonin were arrested.

An online inmate roster shows both in the Jefferson Davis Parish jail on Sunday, booked with robbery and second-degree murder. Hargrave’s bond is $1 million and Bonin’s $600,000.

D’Albor says a hotel worker found the body Thursday. He did not release the man’s name, but says the Calcasieu Parish Coroner’s Office will perform the autopsy.

D’Albor says a preliminary investigation indicates that the man and one of those arrested may have fought, possibly during a robbery.

It’s the city’s first homicide since 2013.
