RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia trade representatives are offering to help agricultural producers explore export opportunities.

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ international representatives are holding meetings this week for agriculture and forestry businesses.

The department says agricultural producers can get help assessing market potential, identifying buyers and understanding international regulations. They also can learn about marketing events and product-specific programs.

The meetings are scheduled Monday in Richmond, Wednesday in Blacksburg and Thursday in Winchester.
