Many areas of Ohio are hoping to dry out over the next few days after a rainy week brought lots of flooding and disrupted several weekend events.

Parts of central and western Ohio saw several inches of rain over the weekend.

The wet weather on Saturday forced an early end to a gay pride festival in Columbus on Saturday and put some of the aerial shows on hold at the Dayton Air Show.

High water that flooded a road leading to the Franklin County jail in Columbus on Saturday forced a few employees to get to work by boat.

Damage assessment teams spent the weekend surveying flooded areas in Logan County where the water began receding on Saturday. County leaders there declared a state of emergency on Friday.
