LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - Siena will open its basketball season in November with a double dose of pain - road games in a three-day span against defending national champion Duke and national runner-up Wisconsin.

Siena will open its 2015-16 campaign against the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Nov. 13 and two days later will face the Badgers at the Kohl Center in Madison.

Both games are part of the 2K Classic benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.

It’s the first time Siena will play either program, and the first time the Saints will play a defending national champion since they traveled to Kansas in January 2009.

Siena athletic director John D’Argenio says the games present an opportunity that he and coach Jimmy Patsos feel will be beneficial to the school’s basketball program.
