BALTIMORE (AP) - A trial date has been set for six Baltimore police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray.

According to an order filed in Baltimore Circuit Court, the officers will go to trial on Oct. 13. They face charges ranging from second-degree assault to “depraved-heart” murder.

The order also states that a July 2 arraignment for the officers will be cancelled if each defendant enters a not-guilty plea in writing.

A motions hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 2.
