SAXTONS RIVER, Vt. (AP) - The village of Saxtons River, Vermont, is going to get a new wastewater treatment plant to replace its 40-year-old system.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports (https://bit.ly/1bI41RH) residents voted Saturday in favor of a $3 million bond to fund it.

The village now plans to apply for USDA grants estimated to cover about 20 percent of the costs.
