PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police in Portland, Oregon, say an Aberdeen, Washington man has been cited for careless driving with an accident in the wake of a March 7 multi-vehicle traffic crash on Interstate 5 that fatally injured a 7-year-old Washington girl.

Sgt. Pete Simpson says 24-year-old Bennett Rowe was cited last week after the Multnomah County district attorney’s office reviewed the case and found no criminal wrongdoing.

Rowe was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban in the crash, which involved four other vehicles.

Simpson says 7-year-old Arianna Lundin of Cathlamet, Washington, was in a different vehicle. She died a few days after the crash.

Several other people were injured.
