HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Gov. Tom Wolf has formed a new political action committee to advance his agenda and raise money for candidates.

Mike Mikus (MIK’-us), who heads the Democratic governor’s “Rebuild Pennsylvania” committee, says it launched its website on Monday.

Mikus says Wolf contributed some of his own money to form the committee but declines to say how much. He says the committee will promote the governor’s agenda on social media websites and contribute money to candidates who support his programs.

Wolf’s original political committee, The Campaign for a Fresh Start, has been dormant since the November election. Mikus says the new organization was formed to make a clean break from that committee.
