BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Officials say a truck driver and a train conductor are hospitalized with burns after a tractor-trailer and freight train collided in Buffalo.

The collision between the tractor-trailer and CSX train occurred about 10 a.m. Tuesday in an industrial area just south of downtown.

Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield says a natural gas cylinder on the truck cab exploded and caused the fire. He says the truck was carrying flour and the affected train car was empty.

The conditions of the drivers aren’t immediately available.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
