RACINE, Wis. (AP) - Authorities have released the names of two men who died in a downtown Racine crash.

The Racine Police Department says the crash happened on Main Street just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police say 57-year-old Raymond Schweissinger was driving northbound when he was struck by another vehicle traveling south. Schweissinger and one of his passengers, 31-year-old James Peterson, died from their injuries. Another person in the vehicle was injured.

The driver and a passenger in the southbound vehicle were also injured. The driver ran away after the crash but was arrested.

Racine police and the Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating.
