GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A Great Falls woman is charged with intentionally striking her ex-boyfriend with her pickup truck.

The Great Falls Tribune reports (https://gftrib.com/1Cra0TQ ) 46-year-old Terese Monreve Denny made an initial appearance in District Court Tuesday and was charged with assault with a weapon and partner or family member assault. She did not enter a plea.

Court records say Denny told police she was angry with her former boyfriend for throwing rocks at her pickup, along with previous incidents.

The man said he threw two dirt clods at Denny’s truck Monday evening and she turned her truck around and ran him over.

Responding officers found him lying on the street, bleeding from the head.

Public defender Matt McKittrick said the incident was likely born out of a history of domestic violence.

District Judge Kenneth Neill set Denny’s bail at $5,000.
