Former A&M; women’s basketball coach Lynn Dickey remembered Crow as a champion of developing women’s athletics in his role as athletic director.

Also delivering a eulogy was former A&M; football coach R.C. Slocum, and among those attending was Paul Bryant Jr., son of Crow’s former coach the late Paul “Bear” Bryant.

Crow won the 1957 Heisman Trophy as a running back. He died June 17 at age 79.
