CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A Glenrock man involved in a hit-and-run crash that severely injured another man on Interstate 25 east of Casper has been sentenced to six months in jail and must pay more than $130,000 in restitution.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://goo.gl/W4S0XR ) 31-year-old Chaney Yates Jones was sentenced Tuesday for injuring 54-year-old Ricardo Aguilar-Colorado on Oct. 9 and then fleeing the scene.

Investigators say Aguilar-Colorado was working under his car, which was parked on the shoulder more than 6 feet from the right travel lane, when the vehicle was hit. He was hospitalized after authorities found him lying on the pavement bleeding.

Witnesses told investigators that Jones had been driving erratically and speeding.
