CANDIA, N.H. (AP) - Two men are facing charges after state police say they used a flashlight and a construction tool as weapons in a road rage incident.

Matthew Anderson and David Bell were traveling westbound on Route 101 in Candia on Monday when troopers say they were involved in a road rage incident.

State police say both men tried to get each other to pull over. Bell started to pass Anderson and made an abrupt lane change in front of his vehicle, hitting him as they were moving into the breakdown lane.

State police say Anderson got out of his SUV with a large flashlight and hit Bell, who grabbed a construction tool out of his pickup truck and struck Anderson.

Both men face second degree assault, reckless conduct, and disorderly conduct charges.
