CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Seven people are displaced after an apartment building caught fire in Concord.

The Red Cross is helping five adults and two children following the blaze, which happened Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say a kitchen fire on the second floor of the Meadowbrook Apartments forced 18 units to evacuate.

The apartment and one first-floor unit are uninhabitable due to fire, smoke and water damage.

Chief Dan Andrus said the fire was contained quickly and says no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
