PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A sentencing hearing for a juvenile convicted of attacking and molesting fellow students ended with the brother of one victim being shot with a stun gun after the defendant’s and victim’s families began arguing.

The Oregonian reports (https://is.gd/bbHRmN ) that after the 17-year-old was ordered to spend three years in juvenile prison for attacking a fellow student at Jefferson High School in 2013 and also molested a boy that year, the defendant’s stepfather began arguing with the teen victim’s brother.

A plainclothes deputy grabbed onto the stepfather and a courtroom deputy used his Taser on the victim’s brother, who appeared to have taken a swing or two into the air. He fell to the floor.

Deputies made no arrests, but still are investigating.
