WASHINGTON (AP) - If you see more helicopters in the skies above the nation’s capital, there’s no cause for alarm.

The Army says military helicopters are making a series of training flights Wednesday as part of an emergency response exercise.

Officials at Fort McNair say the flights involve Army and Air Force UH-60 and UH-1 aircraft, operating 200 to 1,000 feet above the ground.

They say no weapons will be used, and the flights are carefully planned and closely controlled.
