BELOIT, Wis. (AP) - A 69-year-old man has been charged with intentional homicide in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man found in a Beloit parking lot.

Percy Oliver was charged earlier this week in Rock County. Authorities say he killed 51-year-old David Banks of Beloit.

Banks’ body was found Saturday. The Rock County Medical Examiner’s office determined after an autopsy that he died of a stab wound.

Authorities believe the men knew each other.

Online court records for this case do not list an attorney to comment on Oliver’s behalf. He is scheduled to appear in court July 22 for a competency hearing.
