CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The Greater Concord Interfaith Council is holding a service to mourn the nine people who were killed at a church in Charleston, South Carolina.

The service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the South Congregational Church on Pleasant Street in Concord.

Organizers say the service is a time for greater Concord to come together and grieve the nine people fatally shot a week ago at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal in Charleston. They plan to pray for the solidarity of races and with people everywhere who have been the victims of racial, religious and ethnic violence or hate crimes of any kind.
