ROYALTON, Vt. (AP) - Police say two Massachusetts National Guard members suffered minor injuries after they lost control of their Humvee in a military convoy at the junction of Interstates 89 and 91 in Vermont.

Police said the vehicle was the last one in the four-vehicle convoy Thursday morning and the driver lost control while trying to brake as traffic slowed down. Their trailer rolled over and the vehicle struck a guard rail.

I-89 south was down to one lane for several hours.

The driver, 24-year-old Steven Weiss, and passenger 24-year-old Augustin Boutelle, were treated at a hospital.

This story has been corrected to show the location of the accident, at the junction of Interstates 89 and 91.
