PASSAIC, N.J. (AP) - Three men charged in a triple shooting that left two dead outside a northern New Jersey nightclub have pleaded not guilty.

The Record newspaper reports (https://bit.ly/1CweNUa ) 24-year-old Luis Delcarmen, 23-year-old Johan Gonzalez and 21-year-old Augusto Solano pleaded not guilty Thursday to murder charges. Prosecutors believe Delcarmen was the gunman.

Authorities say the men tried to rob three people outside the Club 9 Lounge in Passaic early Saturday. But three people were shot, killing 24-year-old Enpaul Cantero and 22-year-old Denise Gonzalez.

The suspects fled after the shooting and went to a Clifton convenience store, where one of the men was shot at and suffered a graze wound to the head.

All three men are being held at the Passaic County Jail.
