NEW HAVEN, Ind. (AP) - Indiana conservation officers say firefighters have recovered a body from a river matching the description of a kayaker missing since Tuesday night.

The Allen County’s coroner’s office is conducting an autopsy and attempting to identify the victim. New Haven firefighters puled the body from the Maumee River east of the Kreager Park boat ramp, about three miles from where 24-year-old Sean Hiebel went missing after going over the Hosey Dam.
