SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a Syracuse bar owner hid video that showed a woman falling down and then being carried across a street before she drove the wrong way on an interstate highway and collided with another vehicle, killing its driver.

The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports (https://bit.ly/1LJpxDY ) authorities say 41-year-old John Hanus didn’t give investigators all the video surveillance they requested after 32-year-old Amy Dell of Rome was charged in the fatal crash on Interstate 81 just south of Syracuse.

Police say she was driving the wrong way on the morning of May 6 when she collided with a car driven by 58-year-old Bruce Ham of West Orange, New Jersey.

Dell was charged with vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving.

Hanus has pleaded not guilty to a tampering with evidence charge. He owns three bars, including one Dell was drinking in before the crash.

This story has been changed to correct the charge to tampering with evidence.
