KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon Air National Guard pilot was forced to make an emergency landing after experiencing medical problems during a training mission.

The Herald and News reports (https://bit.ly/1KfJ4gf ) spokeswoman Master Sgt. Jennifer Shirar says the pilot, who was not named, was able to land safely at Kingsley Field.

Shirar says the pilot didn’t appear to have experienced a serious medical emergency and that the grounding had been taken as a safety precaution to ensure that no one was harmed.

The pilot was transported by the Kingsley Field Fire Department to be evaluated by medical staff.
