OZARK, Ala. (AP) - Police in Ozark are seeking any information in the slaying of a man in his home earlier this week.

The Dothan Eagle reports (https://bit.ly/1SPNVYG ) that police Chief Marlos Walker on Thursday identified the man as 54-year-old Devon Willett. Walker says Willett was fatally shot and his death is being investigated as a murder.

Police responded to the home where Willett lived around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Willett died Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan on Wednesday.

The sheriff says investigators are still looking for suspects and trying to determine a motive for the killing. He said there’s no evidence of a break-in, but police believe foul play was involved.

Police have offered $1,000 for any information that leads to an arrest in the case.
