NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Police say they are searching for a man wanted in the death of his father in Virginia.

Media report police in Nashville, Tennessee spotted 31-year-old Joshua Copeland after an all-points bulletin was issued by authorities in Abingdon, Virginia, who have charged Copeland with killing his father, 67-year-old Edsel Copeland.

Metro Nashville police say they pursued Copeland twice early Friday, but called off both chases after reaching dangerous speeds that topped 100 mph.

Police say Copeland was last seen on the Briley Parkway driving a 2006 silver Dodge Charger. Police describe Copeland as 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds. They say anyone who sees him should call police immediately.
